HRM Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Samuel Awoyemi Ismaila Adewale Adisa Oroja Akarakiri Ekun ll, Onimeiran of Meran Kingdom, Awori Land, Lagos State was born into the family of OduOroja family, Isele Compound Ota, Ogun State in March 2nd, 1968.
King Oroja born into traditionalist and his willingness to go to school was high. He started his Primary School education at ST. JOHN Africa School, Meran. Kabiyesi also went to Awori Anglican Comprehensive High School and later finished his secondary education at Anglican Grammar School, Ota.
Kabiyesi as a young man wanted to further his education and enrolled to Lagos State University where he spent two years before he had new directions for his life as to fulfill his father wishes.
Kabiyesi relocated to Ijebu to learn IFA and he was there till 1994 and in 1995, Kabiyesi started consulting on IFA Oracle all alone and he was successful in it and in 2007 luck find him and he became Onimeiran Elect. He was fully crowned in 2014 as 2nd Onimeiran of Meran Land.
As the sitting Oba in Meran Land, he has used his wealth of experience to upgrade Meran to what it is today. With what Meran is today, Kabiyesi Onimeiran facilitated many developmental projects to Meran Land such as transformers, good roads, primary and secondary education, shopping Mall etc. Kabiyesi also has good relationship with his chiefs and Community Development Areas.
