DR. (CHIEF) ADENIJI STEPHEN OLADIMEJI

Mr. Adeniji. S.O was born on the 26th Dec; 1963.
He is a Christian.
He is happily married and blessed with three wonderful Children, Two girls and one boy.
He attended All Saints’ Primary School, Yaba between 1970 & 1976.
He attended Methodist High School, Challenge, Ibadan in 1976 – 1981.
Ilesha Grammar School, Ilesha for his Higher School Certificate between 1982 – 1983.
University of Ibadan, Ibadan 1983 – 1987 for his First Degree.
1995 – 1997 for his Masters Degree in Agricultural Extension Services.
He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Strategic Human Capital Managers(FSHCM).
He joined the Lagos State Civil Service as an Agricultural Officer II in Feb. 1989, through an Automatic Employment as a result of the Merit Award he earned after his National Youth Service in Lagos State as Liaison Officer for other Youths Corps Members in August 1988.
He was responsible for the implementation of the Schools Agricultural Projects in various Primary and Secondary schools within Epe Division of Lagos State.
He continued on this project till January 1992 when he was assigned a higher responsibility as Senior Agricultural Officer to revive the moribund State Farm Settlement Scheme at Araga in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State.
This he did creditably well and in January 2002 as Principal Agricultural Officer, he was posted to Co-ordinate the Food Processing and Storage activities in Badagry, Epe Ikeja, Ikorodu and Lagos Divisions of Lagos State.
In November 2002, Mr. Adeniji was redeployed to Centre for Rural Development (CERUD) as the Head of Research to co-ordinate the research activities of the Centre within the State.
In December 2003, he was promoted to the post of Asst. Chief Research Officer and in August 2006 he became the Chief Research Officer of the Centre. In December 2008, Adeniji S.O. was elevated to the position of Asst. Director and in June 2010 he was appointed the Acting Director of the Centre.
On January 1st 2012 he was promoted to the post of Deputy Director (Agriculture) and Director of the Centre(Rural development).
He has won several internal and external awards.
He was Awarded Doctor of Science (DSc)in Rural Planning and Development,and Corporate Governance by European American University, Republic of Panama, Central America.
Dr. Adeniji Stephen was awarded a Chieftaincy Title in Y2011 as Chief Fiwajoye 1 of Amikanle kingdom as a result of his untiring efforts and love for the development of his community.
He is a lover of sports.
He loves travelling and meeting people. He has traveled the world over.
He is married and blessed with wonderful children.
