Massive Turnout in Agbara, Igbesa, Ketu, and Ejila Awori as Residents Back APC

APC campaign for the local government election was amplified as thousands of residents from Agbara, Igbesa, Ketu, and Ejila Awori gathered to show support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, creating a carnival-like atmosphere. 

Akinosi canvassing the residents, members and other stakeholders to support and vote for Hon. Olushola Mathew Idowu Councilor representing Agbara Ward 1, Comr. Akinlolu Ibrahim Ajani- Ketu Ward, Hon. Seidu John Adebayo- Agbara 2/Ejila Awori Ward and Hon. Bankole Surajudeen Abiola representing Igbesa Ward.

Akinosi also presents the  APC Chairmanship candidate Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu and his Vice Hon. Bose Balogun across the four wards during the campaign with the full support of Hon. Sesan Fagbayi, Hon. Kola Salako, Hon. Iyabo Irokosu, Hon. Olushola Bankole, Hon. Abiola Bakare, Rt.Hon. Gbeleyi and other stakeholders at the campaign ground. He also gifted a lucky resident, Mrs. Sidikat Lukman with Grinding machine and a party member with Elepaq 2.5Kva Generator at Ketu Ward for showing total support and dancing very well to welcome the party leaders to their Ward.

The campaign was massive and recorded huge numbers of residents across the four wards, Baales in Agbara and Igbesa led by their chairman from Imutu Ayore were in attendance and all the transport union leaders including Yayi Agbara, Aare Accomoran and other chieftains show their interest and readiness to vote for all APC candidates in their various wards.

Hon. Sesan Fagbayi, the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism and the Campaign Chairman for the local government expressed joy at the massive turn out of his people, noting that it is certain and sure that Saturday election will favour APC and victory is certain.

He emphasized on the needs to vote for APC, promising improved infrastructure development in Ado-Odo/Ota local government which is key to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun administration.

The APC chairmanship candidate, Hon. Lawal Wasiu FCA urges the people of Agbara, Ketu Adie owe, Igbesa and Ejila Awori to vote for him and all the councilors representing  APC from different wards. 

Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu assured residents that his government would address their needs. He therefore appeals to the residents and members  to come out in their large numbers and vote for APC with Broom Symbol on the voting paper.

Party Chairman Hon. Jimoh Akeran urged councilors to campaign door-to-door, emphasizing the importance of voting for APC candidates on November 16, 2024.

“APC is our party and we should all take the campaign serious and make sure our people come out massively on Saturday and vote for APC candidates”

He warmly welcomed numerous PDP defectors eager to join APC, urging them to unite with existing members and collaborate to secure APC victories in their respective wards.

The RT. Hon. Gbeleyi commends the party leaders and all the stakeholders for their turn out and begged the candidates to move closer to their people to show that local government is purely for the  grassroots. 

The campaign was attended by notable leaders, including Rt. Hon. Gbeleyi, Alhaji Odewale, Taobest, Hon. Fasinu, Hon. Odunlami Omooka, Gbenga Oni, Hon. Alade, former councilors, Hon. Arimi Sumola, Chief Agunbiade and Hon. Alasekari.
