Man Laments As Wife And Children Refused To Return To Nigeria After Vacation Abroad. 

A businessman, Ayokunle Oyewale has narrated how his wife whom she took on vacation in Dublin, Ireland abandoned him and ran away with his 3 children. 

Mr. Ayokunle while giving his narrative said he took his family for Christmas vacation in Dublin on 23rd December 2023 while they arrived Dublin on the 24th December 2023 and were supposed to spend five days before traveling again from Dublin to London on 30th December 2023 for new year celebration before his wife disappeared. 

Mr Ayokunle said on 28th of December, his wife told him to help them get  some items from the mall which he did but before he returned , his wife and 3 kids had disappeared. Mr Ayokunle explained that on getting back to the hotel and not seeing his family, he was worried and had to place a WhatsApp call to his wife's number but the call didn't go through. 

He further explained that later that night, his wife called him via WhatsApp that they had decided to stay back in Dublin and will no longer be returning to Nigeria. 

Mr Ayokunle said though his wife had faced some crisis while in Nigeria. He said sometime in August his wife and children were kidnapped and he had to pay huge ransom after spending ten days with the kidnappers and that before then, his wife was attacked at their private residence in Ogun state. 

Narrating further, Mr Ayokunle said his wife had also faced series of problems from his family who wanted to circumcise his daughter as the family traditional rite demands for girls born into the family 

“I have pleaded with her to let us return to Nigeria but she refused saying it is not safe for her and her children. She told me if i still need her, i should relocate to Dublin as she was still traumatised and was not ready to face any terrible ordeal again. 

“I wish I can leave my businesses here in Nigeria and relocate abroad with my family but I don't see that working for now because I have been thinking about where to start from again!! 

Mr Ayokunle said though he didnt have any grudges against his wife for not returning with him to Nigeria, but he blame the insecurity in Nigeria and he understood how his wife felt for not being secured in her own country. Mr Ayokunle who had since returned back to Nigeria said he remained disappointed and heartbroken for not  having his family whom they travelled together back around him.
