Joyous Reunion As Remo Secondary School 88/93 Set Celebrates National President Aare Adetola Emmanuelking’s Birthday In Style

In a grand display of love, loyalty, and lasting friendship, the 88/93 Class Set of Remo Secondary School Old Students Association (RSSOSA) orchestrated a surprise birthday celebration to honor their illustrious National President, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking.

The unforgettable event, held at the luxurious Marriott Hotel in Lagos, was a night of emotions, memories, and jubilant reunions. Unbeknownst to Aare Adetola, plans for the elaborate celebration had been in motion since January, carefully plotted in collaboration with his wife, who kept the surprise tightly under wraps until the big reveal.

The evening was electric — filled with laughter, music, and touching tributes, as former classmates came together to celebrate one of their own in truly grand style. The 88/93 Set went all out, presenting the visibly moved celebrant with lavish gifts valued at several million naira.

Further elevating the event’s significance, members of the 88/93 Set in the diaspora joined virtually from the UK, US, and Canada. Notable alumni such as Segun Osho, Rev. Fr. Oshitimehin, Sade Odesanya, Akeem Elegbeji, and others shared heartfelt messages that added a global touch to the emotional evening.

The seamless success of the surprise was credited to the visionary leadership of the Class Set Governor, Engr. Bola Owolabi Oladeinde, whose dedication, coordination, and attention to detail brought the heartfelt celebration to life.

It was a night that beautifully showcased the enduring bonds of friendship and the cherished tradition of honoring one’s own — a testament to the spirit of RSSOSA 88/93 Set.

In a deeply emotional moment, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking delivered a heartfelt appreciation speech that left many in the room visibly moved. Overwhelmed by the grand surprise, he expressed profound gratitude to every member of the 88/93 Class Set, calling the experience one of the most humbling and unforgettable moments of his life.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine such an elaborate and deeply touching celebration,” he remarked, his voice heavy with emotion. “You have honored me beyond what words can capture, and I am eternally grateful. May God bless and replenish each of you for your sacrifices, generosity, and unwavering love.”

Aare Adetola also took a tender moment to appreciate his wife for her unwavering support and for keeping the surprise flawlessly concealed. Her admirable dedication, he noted, was a testament to the strength of their bond and her love.

The evening ultimately transcended a simple birthday celebration. It became a profound reaffirmation of lasting friendship, unity, and loyalty. The 88/93 Set of RSSOSA showcased the timeless power of brotherhood and sisterhood — a living example of how bonds forged in youth can endure and flourish, setting a shining example for alumni communities everywhere
