..As TRACE Agency promises improvement on the already established synergy with police  

Newly posted first female Area Commander, ACP Oladele Bamidele Olushola, to Sango-Ota Police Area Commad, in Ogun State has warned youth in Ado-Odo/Ota council area to shurn cultism and drug or risk being caught by the long arm of the law. 

ACP Olushola who took over the guard of command from ACP Muhammad Sani warned that during her tenure it "would be no business as usual", as far as issues of security of the council area are concerned. 

Apparently elated by the new arrival of the first female Area Commander in the council area, and by extention in the state, Divisional Commander, Ota branch of Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, Mrs Olaoke Victoria, under the leadership of TRACE Commander, Dr (Prince) 'Seni Ogunyemi, on behalf of other security sister agencies, promised to improve on already existing synergy aimed at proper improvement of security. 

The new ACP who, on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 was, addressing a meeting of sister security agencies, royal fathers, religious and community leaders, commercial transport union leaders and other stakeholders within the council, identified the major security problem in the council area as underage youths neck-deep in "Cultism, and Drugs" as against the situation in Lagos of her former post.

She emphasized the need for parents to go back home and tutor their children to abstain from these vices or else police authorities would assist them for training in correctional centres in the state. 

Warning that police authorities would not take indiscipline for granted, under her leadership, the new Area Commander, advised security agencies to embrace ADR (Alternative Disputes Resolution) as first option in settling disputes amongst people. 

She added that intelligent gathering of information would also enhance proper policing, while welcoming other sister security agencies to the briefing, saying there is no way the work of policing community could be done only by the police. 

ACP Olushola appreciates the sister agencies present and other stakeholders, while emphasizing maintenance of existing synergy, and thanked royal fathers, religious, and community leaders present.
