CELEBRATION OF AN ICON: LIFE AFTER RETIREMENT IS LOVELY AS ADESANYA MARKS  BIRTHDAY WITH FAMILY

The retired but not tired  former Head Of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government and the current Chairman of Royal Institute of Health Technology, Apomu, Prophet Dr. Daniel Adewale Adesanya has received encomiums from his family during his but celebration today at Apomu, Ifo LG, Ogun State.

The family are full of joy celebrating with him to mark his two years after retirement from government work. Dr.. ADESANYA Junior who spoke on behalf of the family congratulate his father on his birthday and two years retirement celebration. 

According to Dr. ADESANYA Junior, testimonial statement that was made during Dr. Daniel ADESANYA retirements party two years ago are still showing in his life and activities around him.

The statement made by the family through Dr. ADESANYA Junior stated, 

"My role model since I've been young. You have been my a great inspiration to me. You taught me everything a father would teach a son. I have learnt a lot from how you relate with people and how you lead your team. I am amazed by your unique leadership skills".

"I am proud you are doing very well post retirement. Retiring in the Civil service and becoming an entrepreneur brought out more, your leadership skills, and it has shown that you're better off being a leader. You're better off being an entrepreneur."

"Your full presence in RIHT and being the Provost has made a huge impact on the growth of the institution, as evidenced by gross expansion in the courses accredited and offered, and also the creation of Royal College of Education"

"Your children wish you a glorious birthday, long life in God's immense grace. We pray you grow not just older, but better in good health and wealth.
Keep being a great man that you are.
Happy birthday, sir, Dr D.A. Adesanya"



At retirement day, The Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Musa Sheriff gave his encomium describing Dr. Adesanya as a loving brother who is a professional and administrator  per excellent adding that he has a great privilege to work with him for six weeks which he enjoyed.


Also, the royal father, Olota of Ota, Oba Professor AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege at the retirement party two years ago shows how excellent and hardworking the former HOLGA has proved himself and he felicitates with Dr. Adesanya for a meritorious service describing him as a man who is so deligent, committed, dedicated and master of efficient service delivery, an Ijebu man turns Awori.

Obalanlege said it is of importance to him to give honour to whom it's due which has occasaioned his boycott of traditional forum to grace the event.



The encomium did not stop from the traditional stool of Oloota, the retired DIG, Babatunde Kokumo who also chair the occasion described Dr. Adesanya as a man of excellent in his chosen career adding that his repute as a medical practitioner will remain unforgettable in the minds of all.

DIG Kokumo in his speech said Dr. Adesanya is the Elijah of our days in Ogun State Health Management saying he has served many roles in Ogun State Hospitals' Management Board crossing to the Local Government Service Commission where he worked tiredlessly till he rose to the peak to serve as the head of the local government especially in the industrious local government  of the state is a well deserved honour.



Dr. ADESANYA has proved that the work of God he does and being a Prophet of distinction has made him to receive favour from God and man. Among the notable and industrious women of virtures that grace the retirement celebration and spoke well about him are MS. Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo and the Rtd Perm Sec. Ogun State Pension Board Yeye Irene Kokumo who in a separate contributions thanked God almighty for sparing the life of Dr. Adewale ADESANYA throughout his years in  the service praying that God will give him and his family the grace to enjoy rest after service.

The head of Ado-Odo/Ota  Local Government (HOLGA), Dr. Bola Bamgbose also added that Dr. Adewale Adesanya is the only survivor amongst the six who transferred their services to the Local Government Service Commission explaining that four had died while one quit the Local Commission leaving Adesanya as the only survivor.

Bamgbose said the retired HOLGA, Dr. Adewale Adesanya has received favour from God's sight praying he will enjoy the rest of his life in the peace of God.
