ADO-ODO/OTA LG CHAIRMAN STRENGTHENS TIES WITH DUFIL PRIMA, OTA

The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Adewale Lawal Wasiu, FCA, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Ota, reaffirming the administration's commitment to building stronger partnerships with corporate organizations within the community.

During the visit, Hon. Lawal emphasized the importance of Dufil Prima's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in supporting environmental sanitation and infrastructural development. He proposed a partnership with the company in launching the Environmental Marshal initiative, designed to enforce environmental policies and address related challenges.


The Plant Manager, Mr. Rohit Kedis, welcomed the Chairman and assured the company's continued support for the Local Government's developmental agenda. He raised concerns about road construction projects affecting the factory's operations and customers, and appreciated the Chairman's assurance that the Environmental Marshal initiative would help address security issues.

Mr. Kedis highlighted Dufil Prima's community support efforts, including the digging of a drainage at Irewole Estate through Afobaje Ota to ease flooding and improve sanitation, which the Chairman commended as a laudable intervention.

The Human Resources Manager, Mr. Richard Ogunye, sought government intervention on revenue collection, citing multiple collectors approaching the company. The Chairman assured that a harmonized revenue list would be issued to companies next year, streamlining the process and ensuring transparency

Hon. Adewale Lawal Wasiu FCA expressed gratitude for Dufil Prima's warm reception and pledged to sustain an open-door relationship, fostering mutual growth, enhancing infrastructure, and improving the well-being of the Local Government area.
